Hermosa Beach

The City of Hermosa Beach has come a long way from its humble beginnings. In the early 1900s, the land was inhabited by large sheep herds and its hills were covered by fields of barley. Today, the City of Hermosa Beach is a popular destination for beach volleyball, stand up paddle boarding, surfing, and beachside bar crawling. Hermosa Beach is blessed with ocean breezes from the West which keep temperatures moderate and smog away, also noted its clean sand, lack of gaudy tourist traps, and functional exercise paths. It is the perfect locale for delicious dining experiences and opportunities to hear live music. Each year, Hermosa Beach hosts Fiesta Hermosa over Memorial and Labor Day weekends. Fiesta Hermosa is considered to be the largest arts and crafts fair in Southern California. It is easy to see that Hermosa Beach provides ample opportunities for seaside fun and nightlife.
